MEMORIAL MUSEUM OF WRITER ŽEMAITĖ

It is the native homestead of a writer:  an old farm-house filled with her belongings carefully saved by the family.

The collection of the wooden handicrafts, paintings and ancient things is placed in the former water mill of Babrungėnai  village.  All exhibits are made by the artist himself.

 


THE GRANARY OF  KAZYS STRIAUPA

In the granary built by the folk artist you will see the amusing wood carvings representing the history, religion and humorous scenes of the village life. Admission fee: optional, donations box.

 


FOLK ART EXHIBITION OF RIMANTAS LAIMA

The old barn disposes the carvings made  by Mr. Laima and exhibited in the old barn. Admission fee: optional, donations box.

It is an exhibition of the folk wood carvings. made by the artist.
